Which Mac do you have: Apple menu → “About This Mac”. “Chip Apple M…” — pick Apple silicon; “Processor Intel” — pick Intel.

Compare the SHA-256 of the downloaded file with the one on the card. If the strings differ, do not open the file — download it again.
