Which pet stays after the subscription
When the paid period of the subscription ends, you keep one pet — the last one you selected — with base reactions. It works in our app; it has no export.
- Purchased pets always stay: purchases never depend on the subscription.
- If the last selected pet was a purchased or the free one, it is yours anyway.
- There is one slot: if you subscribe again, the new last selected pet stays when that subscription ends.
The short version
- Why does the subscription cost less than a purchase?
- On purpose. The subscription is for enjoying all pets and extended reactions; a purchase is for keeping a pet forever and exporting it. No minimum term, no penalties, no hidden fees.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Only auto-renewal is turned off. The paid period is kept, and everything works until it ends. Then the last selected pet stays with base reactions.
- How does the subscription renew?
- Automatically, every month. You can cancel any time in your account, under “Manage subscription”.
- Which pet do I choose when subscribing?
- Your first pet — the one you start with. While the subscription is active, you can switch to any other subscription pet.
- Can I buy a pet while subscribed?
- Yes. The purchase keeps the pet forever and unlocks the export for Codex and ChatGPT.
- What does “forever” mean?
- A perpetual right to the purchased base version of the pet. A downloaded pet keeps working offline. It is not a promise that the server will run forever or that every future operating system will be supported.
- Do I have to pay to connect agents?
- No. Agent connections, quiet mode and pause are free for everyone, including with the free pet. The subscription only adds expressiveness.
- Who takes the payment?
- FastSpring accepts payments in US dollars as the seller (Merchant of Record). FastSpring sends the receipt by email.
