Uninstalling the app
How to remove the app and its agent connections on macOS and Windows.
Removing the app does not delete your account: purchases stay, and after a new installation you can select them again.
Windows
Remove the app in Settings → Apps. The uninstaller first removes the agent connections — the app's entries in the Claude Code, Codex and Cursor settings — and then deletes the files.
macOS
- Open the app settings and click “Remove all integrations”. The app removes its entries from the Claude Code, Codex and Cursor settings; other entries stay.
- Quit the app (menu bar icon → “Quit”) and drag it from Applications to the Trash.
If the app is already gone but the connections are left
The agents keep calling a helper that no longer exists. Claude Code and Cursor treat that error as non-blocking and keep working.
To clean up, install the app again, click “Remove all integrations” and remove it. Or delete the entries that mention pets-bridge from ~/.claude/settings.json, ~/.codex/hooks.json and ~/.cursor/hooks.json by hand.
